SimplyRead is a read-later app: a browser extension that saves the page you're reading into your own private library, and a reader app where you read it. The short version of this policy is the honest one: your saved content belongs to you, we don't look at it, we don't sell anything, and there are no trackers.
Nothing, until you click Save. When you save a page, the extension extracts the readable content of that page (text and images) in your browser and sends it to your SimplyRead account. That's the entire flow. The extension does not read your browsing history, does not run on pages you don't save, does not collect analytics, and sends data to no one except your own account.
SimplyRead runs on Cloudflare (hosting, storage, delivery) and uses Resend to send sign-in emails. Both process data only to provide the service.
You can export your entire library at any time as plain Markdown files with images — a format that works everywhere and needs no one's permission, including ours. You can delete any article, or your account, and deleted means deleted.
